this standard is applicable to DC lifting electromagnets (hereinafter referred to as electromagnets) with excitation power not greater than 60kW. The electromagnet is equipped on the lifting machinery for loading, unloading and handling scrap steel (pig iron ingot), steel plate, slab, billet, section steel, etc. Related products: lifting electromagnet

5 technical requirements - related products: lifting electromagnets

5.1 basic requirements

5.1.1 electromagnets shall meet the requirements of this standard and be manufactured in accordance with the drawings and technical documents approved by the specified procedures

5.1.2 the electromagnet shall be able to work normally under the following conditions:

a) working environment temperature:

1) normal temperature type: - 40 ℃ ~ + 40 ℃

2) high temperature type: - 40 ℃ ~ + 50 ℃

b) altitude not exceeding 2000m

c) air relative humidity: when the air temperature is 20 ℃, the relative humidity of surrounding air shall not be greater than 90%; When the air temperature is 40 ℃, the relative humidity of the surrounding air shall not be greater than 85%

5.1.3 installation category (overvoltage category) III (load level)

5.2 structural requirements

5.2.1 the electromagnet shall be of fully sealed structure, and the enclosure protection grade is:

a) indoor electromagnet - IP54

b) electromagnet for outdoor use - IP55

5.2.2 the welding of electromagnet shall comply with the provisions of gb/t 12467.4

5.2.3 the electromagnetic iron chain shall meet the requirements of gb/t 549, and its safety factor shall not be less than 6. The chain link or sling shall not be deformed or cracked during operation

5.2.4 the electric clearance and creepage distance of electromagnet shall comply with the provisions of gb/t 14048.1

5.3 performance requirements

5.3.1 the working state of the electromagnet is the gap working system, and its power on duration is 50%, 60%, 75%, and a working cycle shall not exceed 10min

5.3.2 the electromagnet shall be allowed to work within the range of 0.85~1.15 times the rated working voltage. The electromagnet for scrap loading and unloading with rated working voltage of dc220v shall be allowed to adopt the working mode of switching from strong excitation to weak excitation to improve the lifting capacity

5.3.3 the cold insulation resistance of electromagnet shall not be less than 10m Ω

5.3.4 the insulation of the electromagnet winding to the machine body shall ensure that it can withstand 50Hz AC test voltage for 1min without breakdown or flashover under the conditions of table 11

5.3.5 under intermittent operation with rated working voltage and power on duration of 50%, 60% and 75%, the stable temperature rise of electromagnet coil shall not exceed the limit allowable temperature rise of the following insulating materials

a) the normal temperature electromagnetic iron coil is of class H insulation, and the limit temperature rise shall not exceed 140 ℃

b) the high-temperature electromagnetic iron coil is of class H insulation, and the limit temperature rise shall not exceed 130 ℃ (used when the ambient air temperature is 50 ℃)

5.4 appearance quality requirements

the magnetic pole surface of the electromagnet in contact with the attracted object shall not be painted, and the magnetic pole surface shall be coated with anti rust oil

5.5 complete supply scope

a) electromagnet body

b) control cabinet

6 test method - related products: the cold state resistance of lifting electromagnet

6.1 electromagnet coil is measured by level 0.2 bridge and converted to the resistance value at 20 ℃

6.2 test 5.3.3 with a 500V megger, and the accuracy grade of the instrument used shall not be lower than 0.5

6.3 use 5000v withstand voltage tester to test 5.3.4, and the accuracy grade of the instrument used shall not be lower than 0.5

6.4 test 5.3.5 with resistance method

6.5 lifting capacity test of electromagnet: the lifting capacity shall be evaluated according to the average value of 5 times of suction weight

7 inspection rules

the inspection of electromagnets is divided into delivery inspection and type inspection

7.1 delivery inspection

7.1.1 each electromagnetic iron must pass the quality inspection of the manufacturer
